Lufthansa has indicated that the next US cities to be served by the new Boeing 747-8i will be Chicago and Los Angeles.
No dates have been announced for the launch of the new aircraft on these routes.
Lufthansa announced previously that Washington Dulles will be the first US city to see the first 747-8i. Lufthansa is expected to take delivery of the new aircraft next week but has not indicated when it will enter service.

I like these destinations. They pulled down some award availability I was looking at yesterday from FRA-LAX in November. I hope they don’t make it harder than normal to find seats on these routes now.
