Lufthansa’s Miles & More website will be undergoing a major upgrade of its systems at the end of January 2012. As a result, access to your Miles & More will be affected and certain services and functionality will not be available during this transition.
Lufthansa expects the overhaul to take a few days once it starts at the end of January. My advice is to be proactive. If you have plans to book or change existing bookings through your Miles & More account online, it may behoove you to do it sooner than later in January and not be caught off guard when they take their systems offline.
The last time that the site went under a substantial upgrade was back in the 90’s, so it’s time to refresh the site and take advantage of new technologies that are available.
