Lufthansa has unveiled a new partnership with Veterans Advantage that will provide members and their families a 5% discount off of all Lufthansa airfares. The benefit extends to US Active Military, Military Veterans, National Guard/Reserves and their members of their families who carry a Veterans Advantage “VetRewards” Card. Lufthansa joins fellow Star Alliance member United Airlines in providing air fare discounts as a ‘thanks’ to those who put their lives on the line to protect ours.
When a member books travel that involves both Lufthansa and United, the member can take care of the booking all at once without having to shift between the Lufthansa and United program.
Lufthansa’s Vice President for The Americas, Juergen Siebenrock shared his thoughts on the new relationship — “With an everyday Veterans Advantage travel discount on destinations worldwide, we believe we have the perfect formula in doing something special for such a worthy group of travelers.”
For those of you who are members of Veterans Advantage, this new program can be found in the MEMBERS ONLY section of the Veterans Advantage website. Lufthansa has also made it easy for members to enroll in Miles & More which will help members further by providing for award travel opportunities with their accrued miles.
