Lufthansa has announced minor updates to its Winter 2012 Timetable. The most notable difference is the seasonal reduction in some routes that is normal based on demand for the routes during the Winter. Lufthansa also uses the winter months to retrofit their fleet so this will let them get the new First Class cabin installed more quickly.

Frankfurt–Abu Dhabi–Muscat effective between January 7 and February 7 will be reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK
Frankfurt–Bangalore effective between January 9 and February 7 will be reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK.
Frankfurt–Boston effective between January 8 and February 13 will be reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK.
Frankfurt–Chennai effective between January 7 and February 7 will be reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK. Flown by 3 Class A340.

Munich–Hong Kong effective between January 7 and January 22 will be reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK.

Munich-Los Angeles effective between October 28 and January 20 will be reduced from 1x/day to 6x/WEEK.

Munich-Tokyo(NRT) effective between January 3 and February 5 will be reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK.
Munich-Washington(IAD) is temporarily suspended between December 23 and March 28.
