Most Star Alliance member airlines have been fairly quiet over the past 10 days or so.  However, LOT has already begun looking toward their winter 2014/2015 timetable with several announcements.   COPA has increased flight activity during the World Cup this summer while Turkish has announced the launch of new service to several new cities.  Otherwise, only a few other minor announcements were made over the past several days.

 

COPA:

Panama City – Brasilia effective June 9 will increase from 7x/week to 11x/week.

Panama City – Rio de Janeiro effective June 7 to July 17 will increase from 14x/week to 18x/week (extra flights for World Cup).

Panama City – Sao Paulo effective June 5 to July 14 will increase from 28x/week to 32x/week (extra flights for World Cup).

 

EGYPTAIR:

Luxor – Paris (CDG) effective February 22 has begun 1x/week service (until June 7).

 

LOT:

Gdansk – Frankfurt effective March 30 is canceled.

Krakow – Vienna effective March 30 is canceled.

Warsaw – Amsterdam effective October 26 will increase from 19x/week to 20x/week.

Warsaw – Belgrade effective October 26 will increase from 3x/week to 4x/week.

Warsaw – Brussels effective October 26 will increase from 19x/week to 20x/week.

Warsaw – Bucharest effective October 26 will increase from 12x/week to 15x/week.

Warsaw – Budapest effective October 26 will increase from 18x/week to 22x/week.

Warsaw – Prague effective October 26 will increase from 19x/week to 22x/week.

Warsaw – Riga effective October 26 will increase from 7x/week to 9x/week.

Warsaw – Sofia effective October 26 will increase from 7x/week to 10x/week.

Warsaw – St. Petersburg  effective October 26 will increase from 5x/week to 7x/week.

Zurich – Las Vegas effective October 26 will begin 1x/week service year round.

Zurich – Phuket effective October 26 will increase from 2x/week to 3x/week.

Zurich – Tampa effective March 4 will increase from 1x/week to 2x/week (and will operate year round).

Zurich – Varadero (Cuba) effective June 4 is canceled.

Zurich – Havana (Cuba) effective June 5 will begin 1x/week service.

 

TURKISH:

Istanbul – Basel effective March 30 will increase from 7x/week to 11x/week.

Istanbul – Constantine effective May 15 will begin 3x/week service.

Istanbul – Marseille effective March 30 will increase 4x/week to 7x/week.

Istanbul – Oran effective May 7 will begin 4x/week service.

Istanbul – Pisa effective June 26 will begin 4x/week service.

Istanbul – Tlemcen – Batna effective July 31 will begin 2x/week service.

Istanbul – Tehran effective March 30 will increase from 3x/day to 4x/day.

 

UNITED:

Chicago – Thunder Bay effective April 24 is canceled.

Houston – Aruba effective between June 5 and August 7 will operate 1x/week service (Saturday).

Newark – Santiago (Dominican Republic) effective between June 5 and August 7 will operate 1x/day.

Washington (IAD) – Nassau effective between June 5 and August 7 will operate 2x/week (Weekends).
