Thanks to FlyerTalk’s N1003U for sharing this photo of the Holiday Business Class Amenity kit that he received today flying from Frankfurt to Chicago.
The new kit will be distributed on Lufthansa long haul flights during the Holiday season. This style of kit reminds me of Austrian’s Business Class kit as far as colors and textures of the pouch are concerned. The contents of the kit remain the same as Lufthansa’s standard Amenity Kits.

To re-live the moment when Germany emerged as the FIFA World Cup Champion earlier this year, I’m giving away a Lufthansa Business Class Amenity Kit that was specially commissioned by LH for the World Cup. In the coming days and weeks, Business Class passengers traveling on Lufthansa will be greeted by a new and improved Amenity Kit. Considering the Business Class kits used in the past, this looks like a fairly good upgrade.
The kit, from Samsonite, will feature a few minor updates to the contents as LH shifts to ‘Korres’ products. The kit will be available in Black and White versions and should be showing up on long haul flights very soon, if not already in circulation….

Beginning in early August, passengers traveling in First Class with Lufthansa world-wide will be welcomed aboard with a new amenity kit.
The new kit comes from Braun Büffel, a German company focused on functional luxury with over 125 years of experience hand-crafting fine leather goods. The contents of the kit will be similar, if not identical, to what was found in recent kits from Escada and Bogner. Two versions of the hand-made kit will be available, one for men and one for ladies and will be available through November.

Now that I’m back from an 8 day rally through Europe that took me to Frankfurt, Hamburg, Istanbul and Zurich, I have a lot of things to bring to your attention.
New apps are on the horizon from LH, as well as new looks for Miles & More and other exciting developments. In addition, I’ll talk about the great time that everyone had on Hamburg-DO as we visited LH Technik and Airbus and took in the Hamburg Port Festival as well. I’ll also introduce you to a fantastic charity operated by a dedicated team within Lufthansa Cargo that brings aide to children to a tiny village in Kenya. Finally, I’ll share with you the details of what may have been the best LH First Class cabin crew that I’ve ever experienced.
I almost forgot, there are nearly 1300 plane spotting images I need to organize as well and share some of the best ones such as this one from ZRH:

As I sort through quite a list of things to write about, I’ll start with something simple and exciting:
