Super Rare Duck Available At LUFTHANSA’s First Class Terminal

This may be perhaps the most rare of all the Lufthansa Ducks since it will only be available for 2 months as the First Class Terminal undergoes a mild renovation through November.

If your travels will involve Lufthansa First Class flights in or out of Frankfurt, be sure to go the First Class Terminal and claim the newest addition to the First Class Duck family.

LUFTHANSA First Class Fare Sale To Europe!

LUFTHANSA First Class Fare Sale To Europe!

This morning, Lufthansa loaded discounted First Class fares into their reservation system that reflects a 40-50% discount off of typical First Class fares.    The best deal looks to be between Houston and Stockholm for only $5600.    Otherwise, most departures from the East Coast range from the high $5000 to mid $6000 range while departures from the Midwest and West Coast range between the mid $6000 and mid $7000 range.

These fares are valid for departures between June 27 and August 30, 2014 with return flights needing to take place between June 29 and November 30, 2014.   This is fantastic window since it covers the high peak summer travel season to Europe.  Tickets must be purchased by July 2, 2014 and 60 days prior to departure.

🙂 Included at no additional cost 🙂  is access to the fantastic First Class Terminal if you connect through Frankfurt where you can enjoy private car transfers to your connecting flights and even grab your very own First Class Duck souvenir!  🙂    Of course you will also have access to the First Class Lounges inside the airport in Frankfurt or in Munich.    If you depart from NYC, you’ll have a First Class Lounge experience waiting for you there as well.

Normally, First Class tickets will typically range from $9000 to $12000 or more, so when they are discounted like this, it offers a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of one of the finest First Class experiences that you can have with any airline.

LUFTHANSA: First Class Fare Sale For April Travel From USA To Europe!

Lufthansa is currently running an attractive fare sale for First Class travel between the US and Europe with fares as low as $5240.   This is the kind of fare sale I like to take advantage of because it lets me book a First Class ticket for what normally is a Business Class price.

By now, I’m sure you are all familiar with the outstanding amenities involved with flying First Class with Lufthansa including access to the world’s finest dedicated First Class Terminal in Frankfurt, private car transfer between terminal and aircraft in certain situations and 5-Star treatment during your flight.  Additionally, Lufthansa has been upgrading their long-haul fleet to a new First Class cabin which puts the cherry on top of a fantastic experience!

As far as the fare sale is concerned, it runs until March 15 and is valid for departures taking place between April 13 and April 25 and returning between April 19 and May 1.  Additionally, tickets must be purchased 28 days prior to departure.

I usually warn readers during these fare sales to be careful of operating carriers.   In this particular case I have found several flights options that are operated by United Airlines.   While their First Class product is great, it is not Lufthansa First Class.  More importantly, if you fly on United you will NOT have access to Lufthansa’s First Class Terminal or Lounges!  So keep that in mind when reviewing reservation options.  It’s that important! 🙂

Start or add to your Lufthansa First Class Duck Collection!!

My suggestion would be to book flights operated by Lufthansa’s 747-8i or Airbus A380 aircraft. They both feature Lufthansa’s new First Class cabin throughout the aircraft types.   Lufthansa’s 747-400s, A340 and A330 aircraft are currently undergoing upgrades so there is a possibility that you may not see the new First Class product if your flight is operated by one of these birds.  Regardless, you will be pampered and spoiled by a fantastic crew, aircraft and ground services!

And don’t forget to get your duck! 😉

In case you missed it on Twitter late this afternoon, LUFTHANSA’s First Class Terminal Twitter account got into the ‘Social Media’ swing of things and began offering to create ‘custom’ First Class Ducks for anyone that submitted a request.

‘Twitterers’ have the ability to select options towards the creation of their custom duck and within a few minutes @Lufthansa_FCT would Tweet your new duck to the world.   It’s a great way to have a custom avatar created for your Twitter or Facebook account!

To have @Lufthansa_FCT create your custom ‘Ente’ all you need to do is to select the options for your duck from this menu:
