To mark 100,000 Facebook fans, Lufthansa USA has launched a contest that will give away 100 LUFTHANSA Swag Bags. The contest is open to US Residents and will run until June 30, 2014.
To enter, simply visit this Lufthansa Link on Facebook to enter your name and email address. Winners will be contacted via e-mail on July 1.
Contents of the bag are as follows:

– Lufthansa wooden glider
– Lufthansa Dirndl Duck
To mark The Muppet’s latest movie, MUPPETS Most Wanted, Lufthansa is offering a wide variety of games, contests and interactive content that can be enjoyed by everyone.
Though the highlight of the promotion that involves winning a trip for 4 to Los Angeles is limited to those residing in Germany there are some other parts to the promotion that are geared for children and available everywhere.
By visiting Lufthansa’s dedicated Muppet website, you can download apps, wallpaper and activities geared for children and their smartphones. Yes, it will work for adults and their phones as well. Additionally there is quite a bit of interactive content on the website that can be enjoyed including interactive games, movie trailers and even interviews with some of the ‘Stars’ of the movie.
Here are a couple of examples of the content you’ll find. First, it’s Miss Piggy’s version of cabin crew announcements and below that is an interview of a Lufthansa flight attendant conducted by Kermit and Miss Piggy.
Over the past 10 days I’ve posted a variety of information on various Lufthansa Group Contests, Promotions, Voucher codes and Discounted Miles & More seat redemption deals. Much of this may have gotten lost amidst all of the posts regarding the strikes and ‘industrial actions’ taking place at airports throughout Germany.
To that end, I’ve consolidated my posts that have dealt with the aforementioned opportunities so that in the event you missed any of them, you’ll have a chance to catch up:
1. Lufthansa is offering a $50 voucher good for travel between the USA and Europe. You can get the voucher until April 6.
2. SWISS is giving away to one lucky winner a signed copy of the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The cover is signed by all 3 cover-girls. Available to US residents only.
3. Miles & More is running their March special for award bookings. Many routes between the USA and Europe are available for 50% fewer miles than normal. Both Business Class and Economy Class are included in this offer. The March offers end on March 31.
4. The #inspiredby contest by Lufthansa. This time the winner will receive 2 tickets to anywhere that Lufthansa flies! Entry deadline is April 4.
As part of Lufthansa’s popular ‘#inspiredby’ campaign, they are sponsoring a very simple contest that will award a lucky winner a pair of Lufthansa tickets to anywhere that Lufthansa flies!
The premise behind the contest is to have you share your love of traveling and why a certain trip or destination has a special place in your heart and memories. All you need to do is share a photo capturing a special moment in your travels along with a one or two sentence description as to why it is special to you. That’s it. Entry Complete!

Lufthansa has started a new contest based on their #inspiredby advertising campaign. The #inspiredby campaign is a series of interesting travel related stories told by a diverse group of individuals from around the world. The premise around the campaign is to share what it is that motivates us to travel and see the world. LH has publised several of these ‘vignettes’ that you may have seen on television and online marketing. If you look on the right hand side of this page, you’ll see a video link to the #inspiredby YouTube channel. There are a lot of great stories there, I recommend you take a look!

To enter for a chance to go to Istanbul and be featured in a future #inspired video, you’ll need to submit a short video (45sec – 1 minute) telling everyone what it is about Istanbul that has you wanting to visit. Use your imagination and creativity to create a video that will stand out!
Videos can be submitted between now and March 24th. A Lufthansa ‘jury’ will select their 3 favorite videos and post them to the Lufthansa Facebook page on the afternoon of March 25. At that point, the 3 finalists will have their videos voted upon by visitors to the LH Facebook page between March 25 and March 31, 2014. The results of the voting will be announced between March 31 and April 4, 2014 with the top vote getter winning the Grand Prize.
The Grand Prize Package includes:
Roundtrip Economy Class travel on Lufthansa from the winner’s nearest LH gateway city.
3 nights accommodation in Istanbul.
€500 in spending money.
