Lufthansa has recently launch a fare sale for travel in 2013. This fare sale ends on June 26, 2012. The fares cover destinations worldwide. For example: Germany to US fares range from €499 to €650, Germany to Asia fares range from €519 to €680 and Germany to South America fares range from €749 to €799. There are too many fares to list individually but there are some great deals to be had. To see specific fares, please visit the Fare Sale Webpage.
The fares cover departures from German cities between 15 January and 28 February, 2013 and must conclude between 20 January and 28 May, 2013.
I don’t recall seeing a fare sale go out so far in advance. This opportunity however does let you plan your holiday now and have something look forward to!

Lufthansa is taking an early start to one of their fall fare sales promotions. The current sale which runs until July 11, 2012 has several attractive fares. For example, New York – Berlin is only $644.00 (Roundtrip/taxes) and New York-Moscow is only $721.00 (Roundtrip/taxes). Otherwise most fares from the East Coast to Europe range from $673 to $1103. Fares from the West Coast (San Francisco) range between $1103.00 to $1253.00. Keep in mind that these fares are valid on flights operated by Lufthansa, Air Canada, Austrian, Swiss and United.
These fares are typical of fall fare sales but normally at these price levels the seats do not last for long (remember, you must book by July 11!). So if you have plans to travel to Europe this fall, this may be a great opportunity to book your tickets. I suspect a Business Class Fare Sale will be coming soon as well and based on past offers and those fares have ranged from $2200.00-$3500.00 for East Coast departures to Europe. Stay tuned for that!
