Each year, Lufthansa’s First Class Services issues a “Special Edition” rubber duck that is available as a souvenir for those that travel in First Class and visit either the First Class Lounges in Frankfurt or Munich or the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt.
Over the years, Lufthansa has had several versions of Ducks that celebrate certain events (like the World Cup, Lufthansa’s A380 service from Munich to New York, Oktoberfest, etc) as well as a variety of different ducks used throughout the year. So without further ado here is the 2012 Holiday Edition First Class Duck:
@Vlad, yep, its a little less festive than past versions, but still unique.
Do you have to go from Germany outbound to get the duck? We have a Seattle to Frankfurt first class flight coming up and I don’t know if I should/could ask for the duck without looking foolish.
@BBT, No you can visit a first class lounge when you arrive in FRA. You can’t go to the FCT unless you are connecting onward on an LH, LX or OS flight, but you can definitely get one at a first class lounge!
i got mine on Tuesday 🙂
Doesn’t look very luxurious this year, does it 🙂
