It has been a busy week as far as Star Alliance member route announcements are concerned. 9 member carriers updated their timetables with United being the most active as they begin to tweak their Winter 2013/2014 timetable for flights between the USA and Europe.
AIR CANADA:
Toronto-Providenciales effective between September 7 and October 5 is CANCELED.
AIR CHINA:
Chengdu-Daocheng effective July 20 will BEGIN 1x/day service.
ETHIOPIAN:
Addis Ababa-Hong Kong-Manila scheduled to begin July 1 is now CANCELED.
Addis Ababa-Bangkok-Ho Chi Minh scheduled to begin September 3 is now CANCELED.
Addis Ababa-Bangkok-Singapore effective September 3 will BEGIN 3x/week service.
LUFTHANSA:
Frankfurt-Seoul(ICN) effective October 27 will be reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK.
Munich-Riyadh-Jeddah effective October 27 will be reduced from 5x/week to 4x/week.
SAS SCANDINAVIAN:
Copenhagen-Bremen effective October 27 will BEGIN 6x/week service.
Copenhagen Humberside effective October 27 will BEGIN 5x/week service.
SINGAPORE AIRLINES:
Singapore-Adelaide effective between August 6 and 17 will be reduced from 12x/week to 7x/week.
Singapore-Sydney effective between August 18 and August 31 will be reduced from 4x/day to 3x/day.
SOUTH AFRICAN:
Johannesburg-Accra effective August 7 will increase from 6x/week 1/DAY.
TURKISH:
Istanbul (SAW)-Dusseldorf effective October 27 will BEGIN 1/day service.
Istanbul (SAW)-Frankfurt effective October 27 will BEGIN 1x/day service.
Istanbul (SAW)-Munich effective January 30 will BEGIN 1x/day service.
UNITED AIRLINES:
Chicago-Brussels effective January 6 is reduced from 1x/day to 5x/WEEK.
Chicago-Frankfurt effective January 13 is reduced from 14x/week to 13x/week.
Newark-Birmingham effective between February 3 and March 3 is reduced from 6x/week to 5x/week.
Newark-Edinburgh effective between February 3 and March 3 is reduced from 1x/day to 6x/Week.
Newark-Lisbon effective between January 13 to February 24 is reduced from 5x/week to 4x/week.
Newark-London (LHR) effective between February 9 and February 26 will be reduced from 35x/week to 32x/week.
Newark-Shannon effective January 6 is reduced from 1x/day to 6x/WEEK.
Newark-Zurich effective November 13 is reduced from 1x/day to 6x/WEEK.
Washington(IAD)-Zurich effective December 2 is reduced from 1x/day to 6x/WEEK.

EWR-LHR on UA going from 1x daily to 4x weekly seems highly unlikely. A quick check of a timetable suggests that one of the 5 daily frequencies will be reduced. So that period will drop from 35 weekly flights to 32.
That’s quite a difference from the 7->4 change suggested.
good catch, I read it as a frequency change between cities, but it was only the frequency of one specific flight (UA 17 and UA 111) that is reduced from 1x/day to 4x/week.
