Lufthansa has just unveiled a new, Limited Edition, 5-Star First Class Duck that will be available for passengers who visit Frankfurt’s and Munich’s First Class Lounges and Frankfurt’s First Class Terminal. The new duck will be available while supplies last and is available in Frankfurt as of this moment. Munich will begin offering this duck in a few days.

I got the limited edition New Year’s duckie. What’s the best market for unloading these? Ebay?
It’s an option, but you may want to consider holding it for a while since they gain value over time. I guess you can test the waters on Ebay and set a reserve price so someone doesnt ‘steal’ it from you. What number was yours?
I got one in the FRA FCT and another on the plane – #’s 0196 & 1358.
What will this be useful for other than collecting dust?
I have certain ducks for which I’ve been offered ridiculous amounts of money. One example is the Statue of Liberty Duck that was offered when the A380 flew between NYC and MUC for a short while. Someone offered $500. Safe to say she continues to sit in my office. Its a collectible and souvenir like any other similar item.
