AUSTRIAN has announced substantial changes to its Summer 2014 Timetable to the USA.
Starting in July, Austrian will begin to fly out of Newark (EWR) 5 days a week in addition to the daily service out of JFK currently in place. Beginning on July 1, AUSTRIAN will upgrade aircraft on its Vienna-Washington DC route by replacing the 767 with a 777 which will yield approximately 600 more seats per week on the route.
Also, beginning in May, AUSTRIAN will increase service to Chicago from 5 days a week to DAILY SERVICE to meet demand on the route.
In all, the New York area will see 12 Austrian flights per week and brings AUSTRIAN’s total flights to North America to 33 flights per week.
