LUFTHANSA: Düsseldorf To USA Now With New Business Class

LUFTHANSA: Düsseldorf To USA Now With New Business Class

Starting this Saturday, both USA bound flights from Düsseldorf will be flown by A340-300 aircraft that will feature Lufthansa’s latest Business Class cabin.  The DUS-USA routes have always been a quiet little ‘secret’ when compared to flights from Munich and Frankfurt.  DUS usually gets overlooked when one thinks about routes between the US and Germany.

Aircraft D-AIGT and D-AIGV are the dedicated 2-class A343s that are based in Düsseldorf and will serve as the workhorses between DUS-Newark and DUS-Chicago.  Keep in mind that there always exist the potential for other aircraft to be substituted due to flight planning or maintenance issues, though these instances should be fairly rare.

Flight information is as follows:

Düsseldorf – Newark (Daily Service):

Flight 408 departs Düsseldorf at 12:05p and arrives in Newark at 2:35p.
Flight 409 departs Newark at 4:25p and arrives in Düsseldorf at 6:05a.

Düsseldorf – Chicago (Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday Saturday):

Flight 436 departs Düsseldorf at 12:45p and arrives in Chicago at 3:00.                                                                  Flight 437 departs Chicago at 5:35p and arrives in Düsseldorf at 8:50a.
