United has launched a quick Mileage Sale that lasts until March 31. With this version of the sale, you can earn up to a bonus of 60,000 additional miles based on how many miles you buy.
The bracket for the bonus miles is as follows:
- Buy between 5,000 and 14,000 miles and you’ll earn an additional 20% in miles.
- Buy between 15,000 and 29,000 miles and you’ll earn an additional 40% in miles.
- Buy between 30,000 and 89,000 miles and you’ll earn an additional 67% in miles.
- Buy 90,000 miles and receive 60,0000 bonus miles.
Please remember that you can only buy 150,000 miles per account per calendar year. Any bonus miles received during this kind of sale counts towards the 150,000 limit.
Recently, I’ve noticed better award inventory for Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, and Brussels operated flights, so a deal like this might be worth taking advantage of if your looking for a great way to fly to Europe or beyond.
