In the final set of matches that will complete Round 3, Hong Kong takes on Frankfurt and Helsinki squares off against Munich. These matches will end on May 19th at 8:00p Eastern Time. Berlin’s new Brandenburg Airport will not open until spring of next year at the earliest.
According to German newspaper Bild, the airport will probably not open until March of next year to coincide with the time that Airlines launch their summer timetables.
Last week Berlin authorities called off the opening of the airport on June 3 after inspectors would not certify the airport’s ability to handle a fire.
Airlines, including Lufthansa and airberlin among others face losses and logistical challenges as they have to revamp their timetables that were originally set to be effective on June 2.
Once open, Berlin Brandenburg will be Germany’s 3rd largest airport, behind Frankfurt and Munich.

These 2 matches will end at 8:00p on May 18.
In the first set of round 3 matches that ended tonight, Seoul Incheon(ICN) and Tokyo Narita(NRT) needed a “Random Number Generator” overtime to decide the winner. Tokyo Narita(NRT) held on for the win and will advance.
The other Round 3 match that has ended tonight had Denver(DEN) pulling an upset over Kuala Lumpur(KUL).
