LufthansaFlyer.com is pleased to announce that it has taken delivery of it’s own Lufthansa 747-8i airliner. The ceremony was quite uneventful with just the mailman asking for a signature for the box that we’ve been waiting on for over 6 weeks! It would not disappoint as you will see in the images below. A few of the Ducks that were home at the time came out and admired the aircraft as well. I must admit, the craftsmanship is fantastic and it’ll be a great addition to my “real-life” office. Next up will be the Air New Zealand “All Blacks” 777 in 3-4 weeks. Work has also started on the ANA “Snoopy” tribute 747-400.

The Family Gathers For Group Photos….

A United Airlines flight from Atlanta had to make an emergency landing without it’s nose gear tonight. Flight 5124, an ERJ170, landed without further incident and the airport reopened most of its runways approximately 1 hour later. No injuries were reported.
