Came upon this article last night and thought it was a great read. I’ve never really delved into the behind the scenes aspects of Business Class on “Long Haul” routes. My curiousity usually stops once I finish my Ice Cream and subsequently push the button on the remote that puts my seat flat so I can catch some shut eye.
This Bloomberg/BusinessWeek article takes a look at the impact a Business Class seat has on the aircraft itself, and the cost of each berth. The numbers may force you to look away for a moment to make sure your vision is OK.
