Star Alliance Route Announcements

It has been about a week since my last Star Alliance update, so there are several updates covering Alliance members:

AEGEAN:

Athens-Budapest effective Dec 20 to Jan 12 will increase from 3x/week to 6x/week.
Athens-Prague effective Dec 20 to Jan 12 will increase from 3x/week to 6x/week.
Athens-Vienna effective Dec 20 to Jan 12 will increase from 4x/week to 1x/DAY.
Athens-London Gatwick effective October 28 will BEGIN 4x/week service.

CROATIA AIRLINES:

Zagreb-Pristina effective October 28 will increase from 5x/week to 6x/week.

ETHIOPIAN:

Addis Ababa-Hargeisa effective June 10 will BEGIN 1x/day service.
Addis Ababa-Toronto effective July 16 will BEGIN 2x/week service.

LUFTHANSA:

Frankfurt-Rio de Janeiro effective October 28 will increase from 6x/week to 1x/DAY.

SINGAPORE AIRLINES:

Singapore-Abu Dhabi effective October 28 is CANCELED.
Singapore-Athens effective October 28 is CANCELED.

SOUTH AFRICAN (SA EXPRESS):

Durban-Lusaka effective July 12 will BEGIN 3x/week service.

TURKISH:

Istanbul-Osh effective July 18 will BEGIN 3x/week service.
Istanbul-Ulaan Baatar effective August 15 will BEGIN 3x/week service.

UNITED:

Cleveland-Cincinnati effective August 1 is CANCELED.
Denver-Tokyo effective March 31 will BEGIN 1x/day service (flown by Boeing 787!).

Star Alliance Route Announcements

I go away for a few days and the route announcements really added up!

AIR CHINA:

Beijing-Yangzhou(Taizhou) effective May 8 will begin 1x/day service.
Hangzhou-Tokyo Narita effective July 1 will begin 4x/week service.
Beijing-Nagoya previously planned increase from 1x/day to 11x/WEEK is canceled. 1x/Day remains in place.
Hangzhou-Osaka Kansai previously planned NEW 3x/week service effective July 2 is CANCELED.

ANA:

Osaka Kansai-Okinawa efective July 1 will increase from 4x/day to 5x/day.

ASIANA:

Seoul Incheon-Chongqing effective May 21 will increase from 2x/week to 4x/week.

LUFTHANSA:

Frankfurt-Rio De Janeiro effective October 28 will increase from 6x/week to 1x/DAY.
Munich-London City effective October 28 is CANCELED.
Munich-Athens effective October 28 will be reduced from 3x/day to 2x/day.

SAS:

Copenhagen-Kiruna effective December 20 will begin 2x/week service.

SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS:

Johannesburg-Mumbai effective June 16 will increase from 4x/week to 5x/week.

TURKISH:

Istanbul-Damascus is suspended until at least June 1.
Istanbul-Aleppo is suspended until at least June 1.
Istanbul-Yanbu-San’a effective June 11 will begin 3x/week service.
Istanbul-Taif effective June 20 will begin 3x/week service.

UNITED:

Washington Dulles-Honolulu effective September 3 is being reduced from 1x/day to 6x/WEEK.
Washington Dulles-Honolulu effective December 3 to January 6 will operate 1x/day.

US AIRWAYS:

Charlotte-London Gatwick effective October 9 will be reduced from 1x/day to 6x/WEEK.
Charlotte-New York(JFL) effective September 5 will increase from 3x/day to 5x/day.
Philadelphia-Austin effective September 5 will begin 1x/day service.
Philadelphia-San Antonio effective September 5 will begin 1x/day service.
Philadelphia-Dallas/Ft Worth effective September 5 will increase from 5x/day to 6x/day.

KLM:

Amsterdam-Tehran effective October 28 will begin 4x/week service.
Amsterdam-Aruba-Bonaire effective June 27 will increase from 4x/week to 5x/week.
Amsterdam–Curacao–Bonaire effective June 25 will increase from 1x/week to 2x/week.
Amsterdam-Dallas effective April 30 has increased from 4x/week to 5x/week.
Amsterdam–Kilimanjaro–Dar es Salaam effective from May 17 will increase from 6x/week to 1x/DAY

KOREAN AIR:

Seoul(ICN)-Kota Kinabalu effective April 28 resumed 2x/week service.

ROYAL JORDANIAN:

Amman-Nairobi effective May 1 is canceled (previously 4x/week).
Amman Nairobi effective October 28 will RESUME 4x/week service.

ASIANA:

The following seasonal routes will be operated as Charter Operations:

Busan-Yanji effective June 4 to September 3 will operate 1x/week service.
Busan-Zhangjiajie/Dayong effective May 2 to May 31 will operate 2x/week service.
Seoul(ICN)-Nanchang effective May 26 to July 12 AND Sept 1 to November 28 will operate 2x/week service.
Seoul(ICN)-Taiyuan effective June 2 to August 18 will operate 2x/week service.

SINGAPORE:

Singapore-Ahmedabad effective between June 15 and October 27 will be reduced from 3x/week to 2x/week.

EDELWEISS AIRLINES (SWISS):

Zurich-Tampa effective May 25 will begin 1x/week service. Service will operate through March 30, 2013.

TAP Portugal:

Lisbon-Sao Paulo Viracopos effective October 28 is CANCELED.

SMILE (THAI):

Bangkok-Krabi effective August 16 will increase from 4x/day to 5x/day.

Several announcements over the past five days:

AEGEAN:

Athens-Tbilisi previously planned 2x/week service has been postponed from May 24 to June 11.

AIR CHINA (Tibet Airlines):

Lhasa-Bangda effective May 3 will begin 2x/week service.
Beijing–Dusseldorf effective April 25 has been reduced from 4x/week to 3x/week.

ANA:

Tokyo(NRT)-Seattle effective July 25 will begin 1x/day service.

LUFTHANSA:

Frankfurt-Washington DC beginning June 1 will be operated by the new Boeing 747-8i everyday except TUESDAYS.
Munich-Rotterdam effective October 1 will begin 2x/day service.

THAI AIRWAYS:

Bangkok-Sapporo previously announced 4x/week service beginning October 28 is CHANGED TO 3x/WEEK.
Bangkok–Brisbane effective from Dec 3 to Feb 3,2013 will increase from 5x/week to 1x/DAY.
Bangkok-Paris(CDG) effective February 16, 2013 will be reduced from 1x/week to 1x/day.

TURKISH:

Istanbul-New York(JFK) effective October 28 will increase from 11x/week to 14x/week.
Istanbul–Dhaka effective October 28 will increase from 4x/week to 5x/week.
Istanbul-Kabul effective April 22 has increased to 1x/day from 5x/WEEK.
Istanbul-Toronto effective December 31 will increase from 4x/week to 5x/week.
