Star Alliance Route Updates

A couple updates this morning (the trend to fill the gap in Budapest routes continues):

Blue1:

Helsinki-Budpest effective June 2-August 11 begins 2x/week service.

Aegean:

Athens-Budapest effective March 9 begins 4x/week service.

Skyteam Route Updates

A few minor updates, most notable the continued contraction in CSA’s routes.

CSA Czech Airlines:

Prague-Sofia effective March 25 is canceled.

China Southern:

Guangzhou-Amsterdam effective April 8 increases from 3x/week to 5x/week.
Guangzhou-Amsterdam effective June 11 increases from 5x/week to 1x/day.
Guangzhou-Vancouver effective June 18 increases from 3x/week to 5x/week.

Alitalia:

Rome-Beirut is effective June 12 increases from 8x/week to 10x/week.

Tarom:

Bucharest-Budapest effective February 6 increases from 5x/week to 12x/week.

Star Alliance Route Updates

Just a small update from Lufthansa and Turkish. Lufthansa’s changes are primarily to cover the gaps left now that Malev (Hungarian) is no longer flying.

Lufthansa:

Hamburg-Birmingham effective May 2 will begin 2x/day service.
Hamburg-Budapest effective February 6 will begin 1x/day service (to replace Malev)
Berlin(TXL)-Budapest effective February 6 will begin 1x/day service (to replace Malev)

Turkish:

Istanbul-London(LGW) effective April 24 will increase from 7x/week to 10x/week.
Istanbul-London(LGW) effective May 28 will increase from 10x/week to 14x/week.

Skyteam & oneworld Route Updates

SKYTEAM:

Korean:

Seoul-Manila effective between April 2-May 19 increases from 14x/week to 18x/week.
Seoul-Sydney effective March 25 will increase from 7x/week to 10x/week.
Seoul-Nairobi effective June 21 is starting new 3x/week service.
Seoul-Da Nang effective May 4 is increasing from 2x/week to 4x/week.
Seoul-Vancouver effective June 1-September 1 will increase from 5x/week to 1x/day.
Busan-Siem Reap effective March 25 will increase from 2x/week to 4x/week.
Cheongju–Osaka effective March 25 will restart 4x/week service.

Air France:

Paris(CDG)-Malabo effective April 16 is being reduced from 1x/day to 3x/week.
Paris(CDG)-N’Djamena effective April 16 is being reduced from 1x/day to 3x/week.

ONEWORLD:

American Airlines:

New York(JFK)-Halifax effective April 3 is canceled.
Hartford-San Juan effective April 3 is canceled.

LAN-Peru:

Lima-Los Angeles effective October 23 is increasing from 10x/week to 13x/week.
Lima-Miami effective October 15 is increasing from 13x/week to 17x/week.
Lima-New York(JFK) effective October 16 is increasing from 1x/day to 11x/week.

British Airways:

London(LHR)-Tokyo Haneda effective between June 25 and July 14 is suspended.

oneworld Route Updates

Airlines covered in this update: American, Royal Jordanian, Iberia.

AMERICAN AIRLINES:

Hartford(BDL)-San Juan(SLU) effective April 3 is canceled. Last scheduled service is April 2.

ROYAL JORDANIAN:

Amman-Misurata effective January 28 will begin 2x/week service.

IBERIA:

Miami(MIA)-Barcelona(BCN) effective April 1 is canceled. However, this route will be codeshared and flown by American Airlines.
