LUFTHANSA Adds 1 Million Tickets To Fare Sale In Europe

Lufthansa has loaded an additional 1 million tickets in deep-discount fare classes for travel within Europe during late summer / early fall.    The tickets will be available at these discounted rates until July 12, 2015.

Attractive rates include Munich – Rome for only €99, Frankfurt – Nice for €129, and many other European destinations from LH’s hubs in Germany.

The fares are available for departures between August 1 and October 31, 2015 and return travel must take place between August 2, 2015 and January 31, 2016.

A 1 night stay is required for destinations within Germany.   A 3 day (weekday) stay is required for European destinations OR a Friday night OR a Saturday night stay.  In other words, a weekend trip within Europe only requires one night.

The fares are non-refundable and are subject to a €65 rebooking fee.

Lufthansa is offering passengers who book their travel via LH’s Mobile App a voucher good for €20 off of their booking.

The voucher is valid for booking a flight originating in one of several European countries and appears to work for travel anywhere on LH’s network.  However flights need to be operated by LH or a regional partner such as ‘Cityline’.

The voucher can be redeemed until July 31, 2015 and travel must take place between now and December 15, 2015.

To get you voucher e-mailed to you, visit THIS LINK to register and request your voucher.  Remember to select your country of departure from the drop down menu at the top of this page since your voucher will only work from the country you are departing from.

BRUSSELS Airlines Introduces NEW ROUTES For 2015

BRUSSELS Airlines Introduces NEW ROUTES For 2015

Brussels Airlines has added 6 new destinations to their summer timetable that will extend their reach within Europe and add another destination to Russia.

Nearly each of the new destinations is what I would consider a ‘Niche’ destination in that some of the new cities that have been added are quite small, very quaint and offer a lot of charisma for visitors to appreciate.

The new destinations for Europe are Dubrovnik, Lourdes, Calvi, Olbia and Bullund.   For Russia, St. Petersburg has been added.  The new routes should be  available for booking soon on BrusselsAirlines.com with fares starting as low as €69 for a round trip ticket.

The timing of the routes is as follows (departure from / return to Brussels (BRU)) :

Calvi (Corsica):  Will operate 1x/week between May 30 and September 26, 2015.

Dubrovnik (Croatia):  Will operate 2x/week between April 25 and October 3, 2015.

Olbia (Sardinia):  Will operate 1x/week between May 27 and September 19, 2015.

Billund (Denmark):  Will operate 2x/day beginning March 29, 2015.

Lourdes (France): Will operate 2x/week between May 11 and September 25, 2015.

St. Petersburg (Russia):  Will operate 3x/week between March 30 and October 23, 2015.
