Lufthansa Schedule Management updated the timetable for service between Munich and Seoul to reflect the A350 flying the route on certain days in February and March. These flights are normally operated by the Airbus A340 so it’s interesting that they reduced capacity between MUC and ICN during the Olympics on certain flights.
In February, the A350 is scheduled to fly from Munich to Seoul on:
February 1, February 4, February 5, February 8, February 15, February 19, and February 22.
In March, the A350 will fly between Munich and Seoul on:
March 5, March 8, March 12, March 15, March 19, and March 22.
This latest update comes after Lufthansa had previously assigned the A350 to Seoul for this coming February, only to cancel plans back in May 2017. Apparently they changed their minds and decided to bring the A350 to Seoul at least for a handful of flights.

A few days ago, Lufthansa announced that it will deploy the A350 to a new destination for the aircraft….
Beginning December 1, flights between Munich and Tokyo Haneda will be flown by the A350, replacing the A346 that currently serves the route. This means that First Class will not be available on this route while the A350 is deployed to ‘HND’. According to LH’s timetable the A350 is scheduled to stay on the route until March 24, 2018.
Flight numbers will remain the same. LH 714 will depart Munich at 3:35p and arrive in Tokyo at 10:55a the following morning. LH715 will depart Tokyo at 12:45p and arrive in Munich at 4:45p.

Lufthansa has announced that it will deploy their A350 fleet to fly between Munich and Beijing.
Beginning on October 30, the A350 will replace the A346 that currently flies the route. This change will be in place through at least the Winter timetable that stretches between late October and Early March.
The flight numbers (LH722 ex-MUC and LH723 ex-PEK) and departure times remain the same.

Lufthansa has updated their timetable for the Fall/Winter to reflect a new A350 destination.
Beginning on September 12, 2017 the A350 will replace the A346 on daily flights between Munich and Hong Kong.
The flight details remain the same except for a minor time adjustment:
LH730 will depart Munich at 10:30p, arriving in Hong Kong at 15:35p the following day.
LH731 will depart Hong Kong at 11:15p, arriving in Munich at 5:20a the following day.

In today’s timetable update email that I woke up to, it appears that Lufthansa will not be sending the A350 to Seoul for a special appearance after all.
A few days ago, LH updated their timetable showing that their A350 would debut in Seoul at the beginning of the Olympics and then again at the end. It was to fly to Seoul on February 4 and then once more on February 25.
Looking at the schedule it now appears that LH has reverted back to having the A346 fly the route on those days.
I’m not sure why this whipsaw in flight planning took place, but it is what it is. I can only venture a guess that LH has plans to send the A350 to Seoul, but it will be done as a separate one-off flight perhaps dedicated only to athletes traveling to and from the Olympics while regular passengers will fly the normal scheduled flights.
