Lufthansa has begun to update their Winter 2018/19 timetable to reflect changes in capacity due to seasonal shifts in passenger traffic.

For the most part, LH is increasing capacity on routes that favor warmer climates during the Northern Hemisphere’s winter.

The changes are as follows:

Frankfurt – Bangkok:  Beginning October 28, the A380 will replace the A343.

Frankfurt – Bogota:  Beginning October 28, the A346 will replace the A343 on the route.

Frankfurt – Dallas:  Beginning October 28, the A333 will fly the route exclusively (compared to a mix of A330 and A340 used last winter).

Frankfurt – Houston:  Beginning January 2, 2019, the 747-8i will replace the A380.

Frankfurt – Miami:  Beginning October 28, the A346 will replace the A380.

Frankfurt – New York (JFK):  Beginning October 28, LH404 and LH405 will be flown by an A343, replacing the A333 used last winter.

Frankfurt – Philadelphia:  Beginning October 28 the mainline A333 replaces the A340-300 CityLine.

Frankfurt – San Francisco:  Beginning October 28 the A346 replaces the A380.

Frankfurt – Seattle:  Beginning October 28 the A333 replaces the 747-400.

Frankfurt – Shanghai:  Beginning October 28, the A346 replaces the A380.
