Reports are coming in confirming that EGYPTAIR has lost flight MS804 while it was enroute from Paris CDG, heading to Cairo with 56 passengers and 10 crew aboard. The first indications started to come in at approximately 11:00p US Eastern Time.
According to FlightRadar24, it appears that radar contact was lost as the Airbus A320 (SU-GCC) was approaching the Egyptian mainland. Egpytair has confirmed that they have lost contact with the aircraft so at this point it appears the worst case scenario has taken place.
Eurowings, Lufthansa’s Low-Cost-Carrier unit, today unveiled a sponsor relationship with Borussia Dortmund of Germany’s Bundesliga.
As part of the relationship, Eurowings will be the official carrier of ‘BVB’ and will transport the team to their matches aboard one of their A320 aircraft that will be painted to honor the team.
