I received a targeted email last night from United inviting me to sign up for E-miles.com and thought to share it with you.

Basically it’s a marketing program that will send you emails asking you to review offers and take a survey afterwards. For your efforts you will earn between 5 and 25 miles per survey (other offers award more miles if you sign up or purchase something, depending on the offer).

Up until now I was enrolled as a result of an invitation from Delta and my impression has always been that you needed to be invited but that’s not the case. I was able to find the link that allows anyone to enroll and you can choose one of several frequent flyer programs for mileage credit. Participating Airline programs include: Continental, Delta, United, US Airways, Alaska Airlines and Frontier. Other options include earning points for Hilton HHonors and IHG Priority Club as well as Amazon Gift Cards.

You can visit this link to register for the program. Last year I was able to “earn” about 1200 Skymiles taking these surveys. I know its not a lot of miles, but they are easy to get. I signed up using a different email address than what I have for my Delta version of E-miles so I suspect you can enroll multiple times if you want to credit multiple frequent flyer or loyalty programs.
