In an 11th hour decision, the Union representing LH’s pilots has called off its threat to strike at Frankfurt Airport tomorrow.
This decision comes on the heels of a proposal submitted today by Lufthansa to the union. Apparently the union must have be satisfied at least for now by LH’s latest effort to resolve this on going struggle.
Looks like tomorrow will be a fairly normal day in Frankfurt after all……
I fly around 200k miles per year, and a good number of TATL in that. i also book a few weeks before and usually on nonflexible tickets. I like LH but if there is a sniff of a strike season I will not book with them. Too much risk they will impact my business. The anual series of strikes is preventing me spending a good part of my travel budget in them. Now many others are similar minded?
