Now through September 24, you can book Lufthansa’s fantastic First Class service at great low fares for the upcoming Holiday season. The fares in some cases are MORE THAN HALF OFF of their normal rates and cover all of Lufthansa’s US gateway cities. This creates a great opportunity to head to Europe for the Christmas Market season that start in November/December! London seems to be the lowest cost destination with the fare from New York and Boston being only $4199.
If you’ve been a reader of my site for any length of time you no doubt know what my opinion is of Lufthansa’s First Class product. With fares like this, it’s a great opportunity to experience Lufthansa’s hospitality and not to mention get yourself that Duck that you’ve always wanted! Additionally for you mileage runners, you’ll earn 3x miles for most of your Star Alliance frequent flyer accounts when flying Lufthansa’s First Class.
The calendar for this fare sale is as follows:
Tickets must be booked by September 24:
For Thanksgiving:
You must depart between November 18 and 23, 2012.
You must return between November 23 and 28, 2012.For Christmas:

Lufthansa First Class Lounge – Frankfurt
@Alex – its typical for that to happen, but there is still LH metal that is available for the fare as well. BTW the fares that have UA as a leg are coming in even lower at $3500-3600.
Are you aware that most of the flights offered between NYC and LHR are actually performed by United?
Since the Thanksgiving return dates end Nov 28, you can’t really see the Christmas markets during Thanksgiving this year. LH F is amazing. But half off the fares is still expensive!
I just checked fares from SEA. LHR is $5279, everything on the continent starts with a 7, Berlin, Frankfurt & Munich start with an 8
It is rather amusing that you can save almost $3000 by taking a flight from FRA back to LHR.
