Beginning October 27, Lufthansa will add to its African portfolio when it begins service to Nairobi, Kenya.
Initially there will be 4 flights per week until December 11 at which point it will increase to 5 flights per week. The route will be flown by A340-300 aircraft with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. A Friday departure will be added with the service increase on December 11.

LH590 will depart Frankfurt at 11:10a, arriving in Nairobi at 9:15p local time (approx. 8 hour flight).
LH591 will depart Nairobi at 11:20p, arriving in Frankfurt at 5:55a the following day.
