Swiss has extended their current promotion for First Class travel to most of Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. The promo basically a 2-for-1 with fares ranging between €2200 and €3000 ( £1900 and £2600). Perhaps the best deal is the €2400 fare to Shanghai or the €2900 fare to Sao Paolo.
The sale has been extended and now ends on 12 July 2017. Valid travel dates for this deal extend all the way out to 31 March 2018 so there is plenty of availability for the deal.
So, as long as you can originate your travel from the UK, you can take advantage of this decent offer. Keep in mind you flights from the UK to Zurich will be in Business Class and can include flights operated by Lufthansa or Austrian that ultimately get you to ZRH.
If you play your cards right, you can book your UK flight to Frankfurt via Lufthansa, visit the First Class Terminal, and then fly to Zurich where you can enjoy the SWISS First Class Lounge before your First Class flight!

Brussels Airlines has announced plans to retire the majority of their existing A330 aircraft and replace them with brand new A330s as it seeks to update its fleet. According to their strategy, 7 of their 10 A330s will be swapped for new ones during 2018 and 2019.
What makes this an even bigger deal is the fact that along with the new aircraft,’SN’ will introduce an entirely new cabin interior. Business Class, Economy Privilege, and Economy will all receive substantial facelifts.
Though specifics have not yet been decided upon, I suspect the new cabin interiors will be in line with the new cabins that will be introduced by Lufthansa, SWISS, and Austrian beginning in 2018. LH Group had previously stated that they have the desire to create a standardized cabin across the Group’s airlines. With Brussels now being a wholly owned division of LH Group, it stands to reason that Brussels Airlines will benefit from the strategy.
I look forward to seeing what ‘SN’ comes up with when the new birds begin joining the fleet. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing their wonderful Business Class product and am curious how they’ll make it even better!

Back in February, United launched one of their better miles purchase deals by offering Mileage Plus members up to 80% more miles when buying miles for their accounts.
The clock runs out on this deal at midnight on April 20, so theres still time left for those procrastinating about the purchase.
Based on feedback received from readers, it seems that few MP members are getting the 80% offer when they log into their account, but most are seeing bonus levels of 50-75%, which still makes for an attractive deal. Attractive because of the the fun things you can do like use those miles for First or Business Class tickets on Lufthansa, or Business Class tickets on SWISS, Austrian, and Brussels.
