Vienna – Las Palmas/Grand Canary effective October 30 begins 2x/week service (Thursdays and Sundays).
Vienna – Jerez de la Frontera effective October 30 begins 1x/week service (Sundays).
Vienna – Nuremburg effective October 30 begins 11x/week service.
Vienna – Pisa effective October 30 begins 2x/week service (Fridays and Sundays).
Vienna – Fuerteventura effective October 30 begins 2x/week service (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
Vienna – Malaga effective October 30 begins 2x/week service (Wednesdays and Saturdays).

Beginning later this year, Lufthansa will begin weekly service between Frankfurt and Madeira, Portugal. The new service is set to begin on November 5 and will operate on Saturdays. Lufthansa will be deploying an A321 on the route.
The flight details are as follows:
Lufthansa LH1170 will depart Frankfurt at 9:40a and arrive in Funchal (FNC) at 12:55p. Flight time is scheduled for 4 hr 15 min.
Lufthansa LH1171 will depart Funchal at 2:30p and arrive in Frankfurt at 7:40p. Flight time is scheduled for 4 hr 10 min.
Lufthansa.com is currently advertising economy fares for as low as €400 while business class fares run in the mid €600 range.

Last week I mentioned that Brussels announced plans to fly between Brussels and Belgium 5 times a week starting on March 27, 2016. At the time of the announcement, the flight was not yet open for booking and details surrounding flight numbers and departure times had not been finalized.
Since then, Brussels has provided the specifics and has opened the route for reservations. Here are the details that you’ll find helpful in booking the flight:
Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Flight SN551 will depart Brussels at 10:30a and arrive in Toronto at 1:20p
Flight SN552 will depart Toronto at 5:55p and arrive in Brussels at 7:15a the following morning.
The Airbus A330-300 will flight the route on Thursdays and Sundays and an A330-200 will fly on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Lufthansa announced today that it will begin service between Munich and Debrecen on April 11.
Flights between Munich and Hungary’s second largest city will operate 3 times a week and will be flown by Bombardier CR aircraft.
Flight info is as follows:
Flight 1686 will depart Munich on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:30a, arriving in Debrecen at 9:05a.
Flight 1687 will depart Debrecen on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:45a, arriving in Munich at 11:25a.
Flight time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Starting next October AUSTRIAN passengers will enjoy a great new destination that will make most of us in the USA a bit jealous.
On October 25, 2016, OS will launch weekly service between Vienna and Havana, Cuba aboard their 767 aircraft.
According to ‘OS’ the launch of this service is to commemorate 70 years of ‘bilateral ties’ between Austria and Cuba. This also marks the return of OS to the Caribbean after a 5 year absence. Previously, OS had flown between Vienna and Punta Cana until 2010.
Flight information is as follows:
Flight OS 23 will depart Vienna on Tuesdays at 10:15a and arrive in Havana at 4:25p
Flight OS 24 will depart Havana on Tuesdays at 6:10p and arrive in Vienna at 10:50a the following morning.
Flight time is expected to be approximately 12 hours and 10 minutes. Booking is now open for this route.
