In my ‘Inbox’ yesterday was an offer from United to buy miles through May 24. Turns out it was a fairly excellent proposition since it offered me a 100% bonus if I bought enough miles. In this case, buying 75,000 miles yielded me a total of 150,000 miles at the cost of only 1.7 cents.
Unfortunately this deal is not popping up in everyone’s email. However, if you are in need of miles, log in to the Miles Purchase website and see what deal it offers you. For most, the deal will be they typical 70% bonus if you buy 50-75,000 miles. But for some, you’ll have the chance to stock up on miles for a fairly attractive price.

pretty low buy in to get the 100% bonus, the bust deal i have seen in at least a year.
