AUSTRIAN will be running a promo this coming weekend with their ‘myHoliday’ group that will discount your companion’s ticket. ‘myHoliday’ focuses on low cost travel to some of Europe’s most exotic destinations including a variety of cities in Greece, Turkey, Southern Italy, Ibiza, Tenerife and Madeira.
For this promotion, if you book your tickets on Easter Sunday or Monday (coming up this weekend), you will be able to buy your companion’s ticket at 50% off. In essence this becomes a “Buy One, Get One at 50% Off” kind of deal.
Fares are available from Innsbruck, Linz, Graz, Vienna, Klagenfurt and Salzburg to approximately 40 destinations within the ‘myHoliday’ program.

Austrian is currently offering a VERY ATTRACTIVE unadvertised special for travel between Chicago and Copenhagen for only $500-$520.
This fare seems to be valid for most of November and into early December for departures taking place on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in most cases. In reading through the fare’s ‘fine print’ a Saturday night stay is required as well.
So for only $500 you can put together a very nice long weekend to Copenhagen and experience Austrian’s fantastic hospitality as well!
Be mindful that this fare is being offered in a deep discount economy fare buck so be aware that you may or may not earn miles for your frequent flyer account. However, this minor detail shouldn’t stop you from taking advantage if this great fare!

AUSTRIAN is running a fantastic contest to celebrate their ‘Tashcerl’ amenity kit that is available on Austrian long haul flights. The contest is available through their Facebook website and is easy to enter.
Basically, AUSTRIAN’s Facebook visitors will enter the contest and vote for one of 3 destinations: New York, Ibiza or Bangkok. When the contest ends, a winner will be selected and will be awarded 2 Economy Class tickets to the destination that received the highest vote count.
